Most traded 2010s

The July Cellar Watch Market Report provides an in-depth perspective of June trading activity, including an overview of the most traded 2010s by both volume and value. Because the First Growths were not released until month end, however, they failed to secure places in either of these categories (in June). As such, we thought it would be interesting to re-run the numbers, this time looking at the most traded wines from the beginning of June to the 7th of July. The results of our analysis are shown below.

Top 5 by value

After just a week on the market, Lafite outstrips Pontet Canet to be named the most traded wine by value. Carruades and Latour have also seen keen demand this month and make their way into the top five.

Top five by volume

Though Pontet Canet accounted for heavier volumes of trade in June, extending the timescale of our analysis pushes Rieussec into first place. Once again, Carruades makes the grade, as does Second-Growth Leoville Poyferre.
