As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Duhart-Milon 2023 has been released at €55 per bottle ex-négociant, down 8% on the 2022’s opening price (€60 per bottle).
It is being offered by the international trade for £684 per 12×75, a 9.5% decrease on last year’s price of £756.

Château Duhart-Milon 2023 Critical Response
Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux) awarded the wine 95 points, stating that it ‘has a ton of ageing potential, classical styled with precision, fully showcasing the enjoyment of 2023 in the right spots’.
The Wine Advocate’s William Kelley said that ‘the 2023 Duhart-Milon has turned out beautifully, unfurling in the glass with aromas of cassis, cherries and dark berries mingled with hints of mint, cedar and spice box’. The critic gave the wine a barrel range of 92-94 points.
Neal Martin (Vinous) awarded the wine a barrel range of 93-95 points, making it his joint highest-scoring wine of the last decade (along with the 2022 vintage). The critic highlights that the wine ‘is excellent, but patience is required’.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent) also gave the wine a range of 93-95 points saying that ‘it ‘pops from the glass with notes of wild blueberries, black cherries, and fresh mulberries giving way to underlying hints of cardamom, licorice, and charcoal’.
Château Duhart-Milon 2023 Pricing Analysis
The 2022 vintage, also holding 94 points from Neal Martin, is available at £678, a slight discount to the 2023.
Buyers looking for value may want to consider the 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages, all of which are available at a discount to today’s release and have 93 points from Neal Martin.
Fans of Jane Anson may be interested in the 2018, which has 95 points from the critic. The wine has decreased just 5.6% since release and is currently available at £618 per 12×75.
Equally, the 2019 has only gone down 5.4% since its original release price, boasts a 94-point score from William Kelley and is available today for £590 per 12×75.
