As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château du Tertre 2021 has been released at €27 per bottle ex-négociant, same as the 2020’s opening price.

Critics’ scores
Neal Martin (Vinous) awarded today’s release a barrel range of 90-92 points. He said that ‘this is a commendable 2021 that should age with style’.
Antonio Galloni (Vinous) gave it the same barrel range and described it as ‘a dense, powerful du Tertre’.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent) scored it 89-91+, remarking that ‘the palate is elegantly crafted and refreshing with plenty of savory and earthy layers and a well-sustained, mineral-laced finish’.
James Suckling gave it 92-93 points, while William Kelley (The Wine Advocate) rated it 90-93 points.
Fair Value analysis
Today’s opening price comes at around a 12% discount to the price implied by Liv-ex’s Fair Value methodology. This positions the 2021 among the best value wines on the market today.
