Future release dates
Symington Family Estates has announced that 775 (12×75) cases of the 2019 Quinta do Vesúvio and 375 (12×75) cases of the Dow’s Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira will be offered en primeur, as a “celebration” of both properties.

The wines will be offered in May and released physically later this summer.
Further 2019 wines from Graham’s (Quinta dos Malvedos), Dow’s (Quinta do Bomfim), Warre’s (Quinta da Cavadinha) and Cockburn’s (Quinta dos Canais) will be released following further bottle ageing.
The same is true of Taylor’s 2019 Quinta de Vargellas and Quinta de Terra Feita. Both wines are to be kept back for eight to 10 years to, the producer said: “Help satisfy market demand for mature Single Quinta Vintage Port”.
New Nacional
Quinta do Noval meanwhile has declared a vintage for its ‘Nacional’ label. Managing director Christian Seely said the “perfect conditions” of the growing season had led to a Nacional that was “complex and profound”.
The 2019 also marks the first vintage of Quinta do Passadouro produced by the Noval team. The quinta was acquired by Noval in the same year.
