Last week, the Ribera del Deuro’s Pingus 2019 was released in the UK at £5,700 per 12×75.
Peter Sisseck recently described the 2019 as being “the most perfect Pingus we have ever made” and added that “it only took 25 years…”
Prices for Pingus are 68% correlated to Wine Advocate scores. Based on last week’s release price, if the wine scores more than 97 points from the Wine Advocate, it will offer a significant discount to the line implied by our Fair Value methodology. Buyers able to secure an allocation will no-doubt find excellent value in this release.
Alternatively, with 100-points in-bottle, the 2016 also looks attractive.
