We’re excited to announce a new automation service, the Critic Reviews API. You can use it to bring thousands of scores into your system and website automatically – no more copy/paste! – saving you time and ensuring total accuracy.
This service is launching with reviews from Vinous, giving merchants easy access to scores from critics like Antonio Galloni, Neal Martin and Stephen Tanzer. As Galloni said in an exclusive webinar for Liv-ex members on Monday, this collaborative effort provides a “win/win” for both wine merchants and the publication.
This service is available to Liv-ex members on the Gold tier and above. A license with Vinous is needed to unlock tens of thousands of their scores; you can find out more about the license and enquire here.
The API works by pulling reviews – including notes – from Vinous, into the Liv-ex system. Properly licensed merchants can then pull the reviews into their own system and onto the relevant page of their websites automatically.
Scores and reviews from other major publications will also become available in the same way over the coming months.
