The first of the Mouton stable, Armailhac 2015 has been released at €28.8 per bottle ex-negociant. This is up 20% on its 2014 release price of €24. It is being offered by merchants at £310 per 12×75. At this price, it offers just a small discount on older, similarly scored vintages currently available on the market: it is 9.4% below 2010 and 6.1% below 2009.
James Suckling (92-93) called it “A refined and pretty red with plum, blackberry and black cherry aromas and flavours”.
