As noted yesterday on the blog, demand has broadened recently to encompass a more eclectic ensemble of wines from both inside and outside Bordeaux. Over the last few days, the exchange has seen a crescendo of trade in Burgundy, Italy, Sauternes, Champagne and the Rhone. The Super Tuscans in particular have piqued buyers' interest, led by (well priced and abundant) Sassicaia 2008.
