Trade for the Bordeaux 2009s continues to power on. Montrose
(LWIN 1013296)
– which was July’s star performer – has seen several trades in
August, experiencing an uptick in value in the last week. Likewise, Pontet
Canet (LWIN 1014307)
has increased since July, rising from £1,375 per 12×75 a month ago to
£1,500 this week.
As seen from the charts below, prices for Pontet Canet and
Montrose have fallen slightly since their post-Parker peak. Compared to the
rest of the market, however, they have proved remarkably resilient. First Growth Lafite Rothschild 2009 (LWIN
1011872) has seen a slow and steady decline. Nevertheless, trading
activity has picked up over the past six weeks, and pricing has stabilised.
