Critical response

Monica Larner (Wine Advocate) notes that Bibi Graetz has removed some of the parcels that previously went into Testamatta in an effort to ‘focus on fruit concentration and elegance’. The result is the 2022 ‘is packed with dense berry fruit, blueberry, spice and soft earth. Bright acidic freshness adds backbone to Sangiovese’. Her 95-point score puts in on a par with the 2020.
