As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château d’Armailhac 2023 has been released at €32.40 per bottle ex-négociant, down 18.2% on 2022’s opening price (€39.6 per bottle).
It is being offered by the international trade for £408 per 12×75, down 15.7% from the 2022 release price (£484 per case).

Critical Response
Neal Martin (Vinous) scored the wine a barrel range of 91-93 noting its ‘tightly wound bouquet demands encouragement from the glass’.
Describing the wine as an ‘attractive effort, bursting with cherries, raspberries, licorice and cigar wrapper’, William Kelley (Wine Advocate) gave it a score range of 92-93 points.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent) describes it as ‘lively and elegantly styled, with plush tannins supporting delicate read and black fruit layers’, scoring the wine 93-95 points.
Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux) gave a score of 94 points, describing it as ‘bright and vivid from the first moment’.
