Fair Value analysis
The new release is cheaper than other vintages on the market, but it remains among the most expensive of the last decade.
For a similar price, buyers may want to consider the 100-point 2019 vintage, which currently has a Market Price of £2,626 per case.
The 2012, which was scored 99 points by Jeb Dunnuck for The Wine Advocate, is also available at a 9.7% discount to the new release, and benefits from 11 years of bottle age. The 99-point 2018, with a Market Price of £2,265, also looks attractive.
