Neal Martin (Vinous) scored the wine a barrel range of 95-97 points.
Antonio Galloni (Vinous) also gave the wine a barrel range of 95-97 and said ‘The 2022 Cos d’Estournel is stunning. Rich and statuesque in bearing, the 2022 captures all the best this vintage had to offer’. He added, ‘I imagine the 2022 will need a good 15-20 years to be at its finest’.
Jean-Marc Quarin awarded the wine a perfect 100 points and commented that ‘never before has this cru obtained such an appreciation’. He added that the wine is ‘captivating from the onset, captivating in the middle, accompanied by a thousand complex and vibrant sophisticated flavors’.

Meanwhile, William Kelley (Wine Advocate) awarded it a lower range of 93-95 points. In his tasting note, he commented that ‘the 2022’s chunky, glass-staining style makes it Ducru Beaucaillou’s only rival for the title of most extracted second growth of the Médoc’.
