As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Gloria 2022 has been released at €31.20 per bottle ex-négociant, up 18% on the 2021 release (€26.40).
It is coming to market with a recommended retail price of £376.80 per 12×75, a 20% increase on the 2021’s opening price (£314 a case).

Critics’ scores
Neal Martin (Vinous) scored the wine a barrel range of 94-96 points. In his tasting note, he said ‘this 2022 is sensual with a persistent and lightly spiced finish. Superb’.
‘A gourmand but nicely balanced Saint-Julien’ noted William Kelley (Wine Advocate) who rated the wine with a range of 91-93.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (Wine Independent) scored it 92-94, noting how it starts off with a ‘quiet intensity’ and builds to finish with an ‘invigorating lift.’
James Suckling awarded it a barrel range of 94-95, highlighting its ‘linear and fine finish.’ In his words: ‘very well done.’
