Neal Martin (Vinous) has not yet published his 2022 scores yet, but James Suckling scored it a barrel range of 93-94 points, calling it ‘firm and linear’.
Fair Value analysis
Buyers looking for value might consider the 2020 vintage, which was rated 91 points by Neal Martin and has a Market Price of £259, an 11.5% discount to today’s release.
The 2019 vintage, which was rated 90 points and has a Market Price of £233 per case, also looks attractive.
2014 has a comparable Market Price to today’s release (£287) but was rated 92 points, as does 2016, which was rated 93 points. As such, if the 2022 is scored higher by Neal Martin, it may offer relative value compared to these back vintages.
