Critics’ scores
Neal Martin (Vinous) has not yet released his 2022 scores, but James Suckling gave the wine a barrel range of 93-94 points, commenting on the ‘flavorful finish’ and ‘pretty balance’.
Fair Value analysis
The new release is significantly more expensive than the previous ten vintages; currently, only the 2012 vintage comes close to its Market Price at £260 per 12×75. As such, it may be worth looking at back vintages to find better opportunities.
Buyers looking for value might consider the 93-point 2019 vintage, which has a current Market Price of £190 per dozen, a 28.6% discount on today’s release.
