As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Lagrange 2021 has been released at €34 per bottle ex-négociant, down 2.9% on the 2020’s opening price.

Critics’ scores
The 2021 Lagrange was scored 91-93 points by Neal Martin (Vinous) who said it was ‘well-balanced’ and although ‘not a powerful Saint-Julien’ it ‘conveys a sense of finesse’.
Antonio Galloni (92-94 points) found it ‘super expressive’, and Jane Anson (93-points) said it ‘retains the St-Julien feel of balance and finesse’.
Fair Value analysis
Today’s opening price comes at a small premium to the 2020 vintage, which was scored 94 points by Neal Martin.
Buyers looking for value might be interested in the 2019 vintage, which received a higher score from Neal Martin of 95 points and is currently available at a 9% discount.
