As part of this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur campaign, Château Brane Cantenac 2021 has been released at €47 per bottle ex-négociant, down 2.1% on the 2020’s opening price.

Critics’ scores
‘A very commendable and quite cerebral wine for the vintage,’ said Neal Martin (Vinous) who scored the wine 92-94 points.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent) gave it a score of 86-88 points, saying it had ‘good intensity of black fruits and a mineral-tinged finish’.
Jane Anson awarded it 94-points saying she could foresee a ‘potential upscore in bottle’.
Fair Value analysis
Buyers looking for value might be interested in the similarly scored 2018 vintage, which is available for an 8.7% discount.
The 2020 vintage also looks attractive, with 96-points from Martin and at a 0.7% discount to today’s release.
