There are currently over 12,000 LIVE offers on the exchange and over 9,000 LIVE bids.
The table above shows the wines that have so far attracted the most bids, and which still have one or more LIVE offers (at the time of publication).
As can be seen, a good number of the most bid for wines are Bordeaux; especially from great vintages, such as Château Lafite Rothschild 2009.
However, Château Mouton Rothschild 2005 has been the most bid for wine listed so far this year.
A smattering of Italian wines such as Giacomo Conterno, Barolo, Monfortino Riserva 2010 and Masseto 2015 and Clos des Papes, Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2015 from the Rhône hints at the on-going broadening of the market and search for value away from Bordeaux and Burgundy.
Interest in Krug’s Rosé cuvée is indicative of a trend that was picked up on last year, with growing interest in pink Champagne, particularly in the USA.
You can find all current LIVE bids when looking at ‘All Markets’ and filter by region, vintage, format and more using the search function.
