Among the eye-catching trades and high prices for First Growth Bordeaux or grand cru Burgundy, it’s easy to overlook the many less expensive wines that populate the secondary market.

There are currently thousands of LIVE bids and offers for wines from across the world in various formats and pack sizes.

These range from single bottles of Louis Roederer’s 2009 Cristal (£222) to six magnums of Joseph Drouhin’s 2018 Meursault (£454).

There are over 1,000 LIVE offers for six and 12-packs under £500, covering a great many regions and sub-regions in Europe, the Americas and Australia.

Possibly one of the least expensive 100-point wines to be found is Bellaria’s 2010 Brunello di Montalcino ‘Assunto’. Awarded the top score by James Suckling, there are currently multiple LIVE offers at £162 per six-pack.

Other highly-rated offers include: Bodega Chacra’s 2020 Cincuenta y Cinco Pinot Noir (£197 6×75); Schloss Johannisberg 2020 Riesling Grünlack Spätlese (£152 6×75); Taylor’s 2009 vintage Port (£445 12×75) and the Vieux Télégraphe 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau Blanc (£207 6×75).
