Langoa Barton 2019 received a barrel range of 93-95 points from Neal Martin, who said that “the palate is beautifully defined on the entry, a structured almost big-boned Langoa with enormous grip on the spicy finish”.
James Suckling awarded the wine 95-96, describing it as “extremely long and refined. Clearly better than the 2018”. Today’s release also received 94 points from Jane Anson (Decanter).
Based on the wine’s critical reception, and at this price point, the 2019 might represent an interesting opportunity for buyers. Looking back at physical vintages, buyers might also wish to consider the 2015 (NM 93) at £352 a case.
