Cantemerle 2019 has been released at €16.80 per bottle ex-negociant, down 17.6% on the 2018 release (€20.40). The wine is being offered at £214 per 12×75, representing a 13.0% discount on the 2018 releases of £246 per case.
It comes with an international recommended price tag of 19.80 HT, 23.50 USD, 22.40 CHF, 169 HKD per bottle.
Cantemerle is yet to be assessed by the critic community but scores are expected to emerge later in the day. .
Buyers may also consider the 2011, at 91 points it is the Chateau’s second highest scored vintage. Additionally, from the chart below, premiums look more tied to age than score and approaching ten years, the 2011 may be the next in line to move.
