Tertre 2018 has been released at €29.40 per bottle ex-negociant, up 4.3% on the 2017 opening price of €28.20. It is being offered by the international trade at £360 per 12×75, up 3.4% on the 2017’s release of £348 per case.
James Suckling scored the wine 94-95 points and described it as “a tight and precise du Tertre with deep and dark fruit, as well as fresh flowers”.
Antonio Galloni (Vinous, 89-92) said that “the 2018 du Tertre is dense and powerful”. Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Advocate) described it as “full-bodied with a firm, chewy frame” and awarded it a similar range of 89-91 points.
Buyers might also want to consider the 2016 (NM 91), available at a small discount, or the 2012 (RP 91) which is currently 16.7% cheaper.
