In our 2017 annual survey, more than two thirds of Liv-ex members told us that finding trading opportunities at the right price was extremely important to them. With over 10,000 active markets and £45m+ worth of bids and offers currently on Liv-ex, we understand that this can take time.
The new Your Markets tab is designed to save you time when seeking wine to buy
Our data team have spent the past year working on new technology to make it easier than ever for you to find relevant wines on Liv-ex. We are pleased to announce that from today, the wines displayed under the Your Markets tab on our mobile (beta) website are now based on your activity.
This provides an effortless way for you to avoid missing relevant opportunities to buy.
The opportunities will update hourly as your activity and the market changes, offering you a constant source of buying ideas.
Changes you’ll see
When you log in to our beta platform you will be automatically directed to the Your Markets tab. The table on the left-hand side of this page (shown below) will now show you a personalised selection of buying opportunities that we think you might be interested in.
The wines shown here have been selected by our powerful algorithm, which will display wines similar to ones you have already viewed or traded. The algorithm will update and get smarter the more you use Liv-ex, making the wines shown more relevant.
Future plans
These changes are currently in an early phase of testing and may not be perfect straight away. At the end of this trial period, we will assess your interactions with these wines to inform our future decisions. This is part of ongoing efforts to improve your experience on Liv-ex.com.
This feature will only be available on our beta website, so please go and take a look. You never know what opportunities may be presented to you.
