The Liv-ex Fine Wine 100 Index closed November on 312.96, up 1.3% on the previous month. The index is now at its highest level since September 2011 when it reached 322.66.
The top movers in November were a mixed bunch. DRC, Romanee Conti 2012 continued the gains it made in October and was up 9.3%. The USA’s Opus One 2013 (+10.4%) and Bordeaux’s Cheval Blanc 2006 (+8.9%) also featured.
Armand Rousseau, Chambertin 2013 was up 11.6%. Yesterday, Liv-ex featured a spotlight on the wine. To read the post, please click here.
Last month’s fallers were all from Bordeaux. Two wines from Haut Brion fell: the 2005 and 2006 were down 1.9% and 2.5% respectively.
Vieux Chateau Certan 2009 was the biggest faller, down 4.1%.
