Liv-ex 1000
The Liv-ex 1000 index – the broadest measure of the market – closed August on 321.64, an increase of 1.5% on July’s close of 316.82. The index is now up 14.2% year-on-year.
Within the Liv-ex 1000, all the sub-indices were up this month. The Burgundy 150 was the strongest sub-index, gaining 3.4%. The index has seen the most improvement in 2017 and remains the top performer over a five-year period.
The Rhone 100 and Champagne 50 made the least gains, up 0.3% and 0.5% respectively.
