Overall, critics were full of admiration for this year’s Smith Haut Lafitte. Antonio Galloni scored the wine 94-97 points and said it “possesses exceptional balance and class”. Neal Martin praised the wine as “a cerebral 2016 that might well be approachable young, yet will certainly age in consummate style” and awarded 96-98 points.
