 Critical response

Neal Martin (Vinous) notes that the wine ‘is imbued with an attractive estuarine element – aromatics that transport the imbiber to the bank of the Gironde’, scoring it 95-97 points.

Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux) scored the wine 98 points. It is ‘structured and powerful’ she says, but ‘not as forbidding as En Primeur in many [other] vintages of Las Cases’.

WIlliam Kelley (The Wine Advocate) gave a score of 94-96 points, noting that it will ‘require and reward patience’.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (The Wine Independent) awarded a range of 95-97+ for wine, hailing that ‘this should be a very long-lived Las Cases!’.
